Axes to Grind to Cover the Hell & Heaven Fest in Guadalajara, Mexico on October 27th, 2012

Axes to Grind’s lone Pacific Northwest contributor Cherie will be traveling to Guadalajara, Mexico to bear witness to the Hell & Heaven Fest later this month with California thrashers ATTACKHEAD.

The Hell & Heaven Fest is currently the only open-air metal festival in Mexico. The fest is dedicated to metal, but tries to balance genres such as Glam, Metalcore, Thrash, Speed, Death, Black and Industrial. The fest had its first edition in October 2010 with three stages and 40 bands. A year later, the promoters exceeded 20,000 attendees, and confirmed 57 international performing acts. This year’s line up will include ATTACKHEAD, as well as headliners ANTHRAX and monster acts EXODUS, OVERKILL, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, HEATHEN, MOONSPELL and others.
